Job Description:

An International Marketing Solutions firm, Distinct Software Solutions (DSS), is looking to hire a Customer Success Manager (CSM) based in Austin, TX. We are looking for a fired-up, hungry manager who is looking for the opportunity to join a rapidly growing company that has a fun and has a laid-back Austin type culture with a professional approach to their business. A perfect DSS employee is looking for a long-term career and is self-motivated with 2+ years of previous CSM and upselling experience. Familiarity with SaaS, the golf industry, and experience with online Tee Time distribution is a definite plus. Candidate must possess strong computer skills and customer service experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Director of Customer Success, will have primary responsibility for the day-to-day management activities for the assigned portfolio of DSS clients by working closely with other functional departments within the company. The CSM will concentrate on customer relationship, retention, ensuring that each customer is as successful as possible in using our product. Additionally, you will occasionally upsell additional products and services as needed to your set of clients. You will understand the multiple industries DSS will be supporting and overall market environment and business objectives.

  1. Serves as an expert on all operational aspects of all DSS programs and solutions.
  2. Delivers the highest level of customer satisfaction within assigned accounts and ensures customer contract renewal.
  3. Generates potential upsell opportunities within each account where the solution will improve the overall success of the customer.
  4. Works with marketing to develop promotions for each assigned account to positively influence program participation and engagement.
  5. Is an escalation point for customers; responds to and resolves client requests and questions.
  6. Generates a pipeline of client references, profiles, and case studies for Marketing to develop.
  7. Performs special projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in related discipline.
  • 2+ years of directly related CSM or Account Management work experience in a sales, marketing or customer service position which includes responsibility for maintaining high value client relationships.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • 2-3 years of professional sales (outbound) phone experience
  • Experience with a CRM (Zoho)
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, driven personality

Ideal Candidate also has:

  • Familiarity and interest in the Golf and/or restaurant industries & marketing.
  • Prior Experience with content based website management.
  • Experience with online sales distribution
  • Superior phone etiquette
  • Non-negotiables:

    • Maintain a full-time work schedule, working on-site
    • Must be reliable, detailed oriented and skilled professional

    Compensation:

    $35-45k Starting Base Salary + incentive plan & benefits package
